FAQ
What is the minimum?

• Fic: 500 words
• Podfic: 500 words
• Art: completed line sketch (not on ruled paper)
• Comic: 3 panels
• Vid: 30 secons
• Other: use your discretion or consult with the mod

What if I want to write about Petunia as both an aunt and mother? Or, say, single dad Harry Potter? When would I do that?
Well, Petunia is both an Evans sister and an Aunt, so feel free to ask for her more than once! For Harry, you could request that in May/June, seeing as how he'd be a next gen parent, and/or you could do it in July/Aug with the single dads, and you could do it again in Sep/Aug during the free-for-all! Heck, if you wanted to request him taking in his magical nieces/nephews from Dudley, you could prompt that in Mar/April too! Feel free to sign up as many times as are applicable! The goal is more works, not hyper-restrictions!

What does "other medium" mean?
Just that! Perhaps you want to request/offer filk, or a curated character playlist, or family recipes that your single parent is passing down to their child. Go wild! When requesting, be sure to detail what kinds of "other" mediums you want in your sign-up. When offering, be aware that this is a wildcard, so only offer it if you're sure you can handle whatever requests are thrown your way!

I had a fill planned but didn't finish it in time! What do I do?
Save it for the amnesty cycle! Treats for the entire year's worth of prompts are welcome then! You may also post works without a recipient at that time, if you have something that ended up deviating pretty far from the original prompt and weren't sure the original recipient would want it.

 

Prompting
All prompts must fall within the broader Harry Potter universe. However, you can specify distinct fandoms within that world, such as Cursed Child, Wizards Unite, Lego Harry Potter, etc.

• You must prompt at least 1, and up to 10, character/pairing/grouping tags
• You must request at least 1 rating you would like to see
• You may add up to 20 optional tags to help inspire fills
• You may make up to 30 different prompts

Please use the description box to include your absolute DNWs, likes, and brief prompts. Remember that this is a prompt, not a gift request, and fills may not exactly match your idea.

 

Fills

• DO use at least one of your recipient's requested characters/groupings
• DO check out their suggested prompts, tropes, and freeforms, though you are not bound to include them. Fills are not a tailored gift, but something inspired by the prompt
• DO NOT include any of your recipient's DNWs! This is a banable offense.
• DO NOT be a jerk
